About this event

Health • Mental health

For those whose love language is ‘Are you mad at me?’—let’s rewrite the script. Single, dating, or married—if your brain’s favorite hobby is overanalyzing texts, this is your tribe. No judgment, just a warm space with snacks, conversation, and being truly seen. We’ll explore attachment patterns and share helpful tools so you can feel fully safe and supported.

What’s Anxious Attachment?

Anxious attachment is a relational style where you might:

- Overanalyze texts or cues for "proof" of love.

- Feeling anxious that the connection won’t last

- Crave closeness but worry it’s "too much."

Sound familiar? Take this quick quiz to explore your style: https://www.attachmentproject.com/attachment-style-quiz

This 2h session includes:

Casual & Connected: Think more cosy hangout and not therapy couch! Just snacks, stories and solutions to your spirals.

Expert Insights: Each month, our resident expert shares one actionable tool to soothe anxiety, communicate needs, and connect with more confidence.

- "Oh, it’s not just me?" Swap stories, laugh at your overthinker brain, and remember: anxious attachment isn’t a flaw—it’s just your heart trying to protect you.

This Month’s Theme:

From Panic to Peace: Rewiring Relationship Anxiety

Featuring Dian Handayani, relationship coach and the resident Big Sis! Dian, a sex therapist, sex coach, and founder of Nambani in Singapore, has 14 years of clinical experience, having started her career as a mental health art therapist in a public hospital. She holds an MA in Art Therapy from LaSalle College and an MSc in Medicine from the University of Sydney, and she is a board-certified sexologist. As a published author, she contributes to a chapter on sexual shame in the book Solution-Focused Coaching in Asia.

Is this right for you?

- Leave with a practical strategy to quiet the "what if?" spiral.

- Meet people who get it and have similar experiences in dating and relationships

- Please note that this is a peer community and not therapy. If you’re going through a really tough time, we gently encourage seeking support from a mental health professional

Disclaimer:

1. The attachment style quiz is for self-exploration only—not a diagnostic tool. It’s meant to spark reflection, not replace professional advice. If your anxiety feels overwhelming, consider reaching out to a licensed therapist.

2. While we dive into attachment theory and share tools, this meet-up is a peer community, not therapy. It’s a place to learn and connect, but if you’re struggling with severe distress, we gently encourage seeking support from a mental health professional.

3. We aim to create a safe space so we reserve the right to remove any attendees who the organizer/other attendees deem demonstrating unsafe behaviour.
