The Holy Prophet Salla allahu alayhi wasallam said: "Learn Arabic for it is part of your Religion”. And He said in another narration: “Love the Arabs for three reasons, because I am an Arab, the Qur’an is Arabic and the speech of the people of Paradise is Arabic.”

Arabic Made Easy is a basic-level course developed for those who has little or no knowledge of reading or writing Arabic, but possess a strong desire to learn and understand this language close to our faith.

Designed in a streamlined manner, this course is made accessible to those with minimal or no Arabic reading/writing skills, and will fast-track its students towards instilling this beautiful and powerful language in their hearts and minds. And help them along the path towards reading, writing and understanding the Arabic language, in time.

Learning the Arabic language is not only for conversational and linguistic purposes, but it also has a sentimental value towards the religion.

In this course, participants will learn of the fundamentals of Arabic language (grammar & vocabulary) both writing and reading, sentence structure as well as the skill in using an Arabic dictionary.

This course is suitable for those who wants to learn Arabic Language from the most basic level of the language, without any prior exposure to it.

Weekly assessments will also be included as this learning journey is intended to go beyond the classroom, as you inculcate Arabic Language into your life and practises.

Requirements
This course is open to all students, of ages 15 and above. No knowledge, exposure or familiarity to the Arabic language required. At the end of the course students can expect to have the capability to read and write Arabic at a basic level.


About the Teacher

Ustadh Syed Mohsen Bin Mohamad Alsagoff

Ustadh Syed Mohsen was educated till pre-university level at Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah in Singapore. Upon completing his studies at Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah, he left the comforts of Singapore and furthered his Islamic education at Yarmouk University in Ibrid, Jordan, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Shari’a and Islamic Studies, with a Major in Foundations of Islamic Religion.

Ustadh Syed Mohsen has deep knowledge in the study of Hadiths and has received numerous Ijazahs on Hadiths from top Muslim Scholars from all over the world.

He is also an active debater in the English Language and represented Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah at the 5th Musleh International Student Debating Championships in Malaysia and The Singapore Muslim Youth Debate in 2013.

Ustadh Syed Mohsen is the grandson of Habib Abbas Alsagoff, a distinguished and highly-respected Habib in Singapore.
