NOTICE : ENTRY FOR FULLY VACINNATED INDIVIDUALS ONLYCome and join us on the 18th of June at Sg Expo !We will have featured overseas guests and cosers ! ____________________________________________________________________________________________Dear Attendee, We would like you come to Arc Market to enjoy yourself and to show the world your creations. However, please do take into account the safety and comfort of others whom are also attending the event. So, we request that all attendees adhere to our guidelines and expected behavior. A. BehaviourWe would like everyone at Arc market to have a great time but there are some whom are below 16 yrs of age attending. Hence, any violations of our policies or conventions will result in you being asked to leave the event. 1. Be considerate towards fellow attendees.2. Attendees love to have photos taken with cosplayers and we love to see such photos but please be considerate about the locations which you’re taking the photo in. Do not clog up the front of booths while doing so. 3. Avoid doorways and areas where people need to pass through or queue.4. ALWAYS ask before taking a photograph of a Cosplayer.5. Act responsibly with your cosplay props. Do not swing a sharp or potentially injurious prop around when there are people surrounding you. If you are found to be behaving inappropriately with a prop (regardless if it belongs to you or not), you will be asked to leave the eventB. Indecency1. Bearing in mind that all ages are welcomed at Arc Market. If your cosplay outfit is deemed to be offensive to the casual observer, it will not be allowed inside the event. Consider the “social media” test – if you were photographed and the image went viral, would the general public be offended by your outfit. If the answer is yes then do not bring your costume to the event.2. The authorities and members of the public find weapons offensive – When traveling to and fro the venue, please be mindful of this. If the prop weapons you’re intending on bringing appears realistic or could cause alarm, do not bring it. We will not allow realistic weapons to be present at the event. C. Offensive Behavior 1. If any attendee is found to be behaving offensively, they will be asked to leave the venue and no refunds will be given. We retain the right and discretion to ask anyone whom we deem to be exhibiting offensive behavior to leave the venue. By purchasing our entry ticket, you agree to this condition. The following non-exhaustive list constitutes offensive behavior :Touching other attendees (and their costumes) without consentAggressive behaviour towards other attendeesAggressive behaviour towards event staffInappropriate gestures and posesInappropriate commentsExcessive swearingD. ViolenceAny violence, threats of violence or intimidation towards any attendee or staff will result in immediate removal from the event with no refunds.E. NudityWe have a zero tolerance for nudityCostumes must be no smaller than standard swimwearIf your cosplay is revealing ensure vital parts are covered at all times and consider the use of tape to keep your costume secureCostumes which give the illusion of nudity are also not permittedF. Weapons and PropsUnderstandably, props are an integral part of your cosplay but we ask that you refer to the rules below before bringing your prop or weapon to an event.Not Allowed :FirearmsRealistic Replica FirearmsProps or weapons with sharp edgesBokkenFunctional bows or crossbowsDartsSligshotsUnsecured whipsPyrotechnics/explosives (including glitter and smoke bombs)Sharp ArrowsAllowed :Non realistic weapons Blunt foam or wood weapons in a sheathUnstrung or loosely strung bowPlastic / wood / LARP weaponsToolsAll props will be checked at the door before you enter the venue and any items that do not adhere to the rules above will not be allowed into the event. Staff cannot store any banned props. Our venue has no storage rooms or area so you cannot rely on on-site storage.G. Costume Size and ConstructionWe welcome and encourage any costume that falls within the rules outlined above, but ask you to be aware of the following:You must be able to get through a standard size door unaidedFor any costumes over 1.8m or wider than 1m, please exercise common sense. If you’re going to block everyone to your left and right, please leave it at home.Please do not come in outfits with big tails or trains.No hard and sharp pointy bits.Otherwise, please come to the event to enjoy yourself !
