About this event
Pianist, composer, and educator Arnold Pontoh has nurtured a personal and introspective style of jazz composition and performance over many years in his native city of Jakarta. Fueled by some formative educational experience in New York City he is coming to a new level of maturity and expression now as a resident of Singapore.
Here he presents his Singapore based quartet in an investigation of recent compositions and arrangements of both blues- and jazz-derived repertoire.
