The Holiday Boot Camps aims to help youths explore the various mediums of art we have, as part of our ongoing professional art courses. By allowing them the opportunity to be in touch with different forms of art, they can discover a new hobby that is to their interest! While building up their creative minds we provide a safe space for them to fully explore their inner thoughts and creativity using art!
At Visual Arts Centre, we believe that each students learns at a different pace. Thus, the art class is conducted at individual student’s preference and abilities. The sessions will be taught according to their preferred mediums and will be given individual guidance by our professional art instructors.
1. Professional Intensive Drawing and Sketching Bootcamp
Young art learners looking to advance in their art learning during this holiday, Professional Intensive Boot Camps – Drawing & Sketching is the perfect course for Teens and Youth age 10 – 18 years old.
In this Intensive boot Camp of 8 sessions, students will grasp and learn concepts and techniques taught in our Professional Drawing & Sketching course!
All beginners are welcomed! At Visual Arts Centre Art Studio, we provide art instruction and guidance on drawing and sketching from a foundational level.
The practice of Drawing and Sketching itself is therapeutic in nature and helps also cultivates patience, mental alertness, and perseverance.
Learning Contents
Up to two different subjects may be explored in the 8 sessions
Subjects of study includes
- Fundamentals of Still Life Drawing tonal drawing and sketching
- Plaster Cast studies
- One or two point perspective studies
- Landscape drawings
- Urban Sketching
- Figure Drawing

2. Professional Acrylic Drawing and Watercolour Painting Bootcamp
Young art learners looking to advance in their art learning during this holiday, Professional Intensive Boot Camps – Acrylic & Watercolour is the perfect course for Youth age 10 – 18 years old.
In this Intensive boot Camp of 8 sessions, students will grasp and learn concepts and techniques taught in our Professional Acrylic or Watercolour painting course!
What can you expect?
- Progressive art references in terms of difficulty and complexity
- Beginner-friendly painting lessons of simple landscapes or an arrangement of fruits
- Practice blending techniques
- Understand colour theory and mixing
- Train your observation skills through still life drawing, understand the composition, correct proportions and perspectives of the still life
All art materials will be provided !
3. Professional Holiday Outdoor Urban Landscape Sketching Bootcamp
This is a guided course with professional instructor guidance and we will also be going outdoors to capture different life subjects such as trees, bushes and architecture. All art materials will be provided for this course and is suitable for learners from the age of 8 years and above with varying levels of experience!
4. Professional Manga & Coloured Illustration
Learning Contents:
Learn to draw human figure proportion, character dynamics, character drawing in digital form Computer Graphics Processing etc.
Beginners are welcome to join us as we provide guidance across all levels!
Learn Manga & Coloured Illiustration Drawing and Convey your story through Manga and design your own characters.

- Introduction to Digital Drawing and Painting Bootcamp
Digital drawing and digital painting refers to the process of creating artwork using digital tools and software. It involves using a digital drawing tablet or a computer with specialized software such as Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint, which offers a wide range of brushes, colours, and other digital tools.
What can you expect?
Beginner friendly sketching lessons on digital characters, cartoons or animals with background
Subject matters that you will engage in during the sessions
Sketching Anatomy (character – facial, body, male/female)
Stylization of characters (male/ female and costume)
Creating good compositions – drawing dynamic scenes
During the course, students will:
Learn to draw basic human anatomy – with proportion
Gain observational skills on composition, correct proportions and perspectives of the art reference
Understand colour theory and mixing
Please bring your own digital device (. After the 5 weeks, students will take home 4 of their independent art projects, which they can proudly display at home.
