ARTICULATE! A marketing workshop for social causes

A workshop on how to define the unique value proposition and unifying narrative for your social movement, brand or social cause.
Social movements have the power to bring industry, government and civil society together for a common purpose, while helping its organisational members amplify their activities. We will be conducting a social movement workshop for organisations looking to explore the possibilities of social movements in more depth.
ARTICULATE! is a workshop designed to help organisations start planning their social movements. We share the process for identifying an organisations core values and unique value proposition and start building a unifying narrative that is relevant to the many stakeholders involved in a social movement, marketing or fundraising campaign. Our consultants will take the workshop participants through scenarios and exercises that will help focus thinking and provide useful takeouts that can be applied to their own organisations.

- How to identify social issues your organisation can credibly get behind
- Telling your story: how to craft a narrative that can be told by anyone
- Program Proto-typing Exercise: Participants will craft social movement programs using rapid proto-typing and recieve feedback from a tri-sector perspective
Nadim van der Ros, Founder, Be An Idea
Nadim has over a decade of experience across all disciplines in the marketing field - from brand planning to digital marketing. He started Be An Idea with the intention that marketing could do better and believes that “better” is built together, through the collaboration of government, industry and civil society.
Anthony Caravello, Strategy Solutions Lead, Be An Idea
Anthony is the lead consultant for strategic solutions at Be An Idea. He works with clients to develop Collaborative Marketing strategies to achieve business and social goals. In his past life, Anthony was a Strategic Planner at McCann Singapore, where he developed branded marketing communications strategies for clients. Anthony also received his Master’s degree in Tri-Sector Collaboration from Singapore Management University, where he learned the ins and outs of public-private partnership development.
