About this event

  • The Asia Business Simulation (ABS) is a competition where students can virtually establish their own companies and make decisions on various aspects of their business from their company culture to their production needs.
  • The 2-day competition runs from 08:30 to 17:40 on the first day, and from 08:50 to 14:30 on the second day.
  • This competition is for students from Grade 6 to Grade 12 (Junior Division: Grades 6 - 9; Senior Division: Grades 10 - 12).
  • Candidates are encouraged to participate in groups of 6 - 8 members.
  • Individual candidates will be teamed up randomly by the Organizing Committee to form teams prior to the competition.

Any specific genre that student have to focus on to win this competition?

There is none! We will guide you to familiarize with all competition rules... you just have to be enthusiastic about learning entrepreneurship and business knowledge and practices. Also, be resilient!

What will I get if my team win in a Regional Round?

Top 35%: Receive Gold, Silver, or Bronze award and advancement to the Global Finals hosted by the World Youth Economic Forum (WYEF) in China. Top 60%: Earn ASDAN UK certificates and qualify for WYEF Semifinals. Additional prizes: Best Presentation, etc. All participants will enter HCBC for free

Is the USD 230 (exclude platform fee) fee per student or per team?

It is the fee per student.

What does the registration fee cover?

The registration fee covers (Harvard Crimson Business Competition Preliminary Participation Certificate, UK endorsed Certificate, Individual Certificate, Trophies and Medals for the winners, Mascot) and 2 lunches during competition.

How long is the competition?

2 days (typically, Saturday - Sunday)
