Where is this event held?

It will be held in Wadari Retreat Villa, Ubud, Bali Indonesia. The sessions will be held in an outdoor, sheltered yoga pavilion. Being close to nature enhances the experience, helping us to connect with peace and the simpler side of life.

What time do I need to arrive at Bali airport, to be in time for the programme?

Best to arrive at Bali airport on 8 June 2024, 1.30pm or earlier. To ensure you have enough time for immigration clearance, baggage claims and transfer to the hotel.

What does the cost include?

You get 3N stay at Wadari Retreat Ubud, 2-way airport transfers between Bali Denpasar Airport and the hotel, 5 wellness workshops, 2 yoga sessions, optional evening meditation guidance, all meals during the retreat, an exclusive wellness journal.

What time does the programme end?

The retreat ends 10 June 2024, 4pm. You need 2 hours (in case of bad traffic) to get to the airport, so if you are leaving on the night of 10 June itself, it will be safe to book flights that depart 8pm or later. Your retreat fees will be adjusted accordingly if you are only staying for 2 nights.

Do I need some prior experience with mindfulness and meditation?

No prior experience necessary! The programme will be pegged at a beginner's level, unless all participants have attended mindfulness workshops before.

Organized by

Lilian Ong, Founder and Director of Wellness Journey Pte. Ltd., is a Registered Counsellor and certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher. She has 18 years of counselling experience, of which 13 years were in the medical setting, helping adults recover from stress-related problems such as insomnia, burnout, depression and anxiety. Lilian also specialises in providing emotional support for pregnant and postnatal mothers, as the journey into motherhood can bring about a complex range of emotional experiences. The mothers she had cared for were deeply appreciative of the non-judgmental, assuring and affirming presence provided by Lilian, enabling them to gain confidence as new mothers and build precious bonds with their babies.

She uses evidence-based psychological approaches in her individual sessions and group workshops, together with her personal qualities of deep empathy, calm demeanour and insightful reflections, to guide people towards positive wellbeing. Her motivation for setting up Wellness Journey is to share useful self-care strategies, promote regular attention to mental and emotional health, so that everyone can improve their wellbeing and lead truly satisfying lives.
