Dress code

To honour and respect the space and regulations at Pegulingan Temple, all attendees need to be dressed appropriately throughout the event.

  • Tops have to be mid-length or long sleeves that covers your sholders (no sleeveless or low-revealing tops)
  • Long pants, skirts or dresses that cover below your knee level (no shorts or mini-skirts)
  • If you'd like, you may choose to wear the traditional balinese sarong and senteng (sash/band)
  • No sheer, revealing or tight-fitting outfits please

Local weather conditions

Bali’s monsoon season typically runs from November to March. During this period, you can expect some sun with frequent rain showers and higher humidity.

We encourage you to bring sunblock, hats, and suitable waterproof clothing, shoes and items, such as rain jackets, ponchos, and umbrellas.

Meals

Lunch meals (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) will be offered during the event. Please arrange for your own breakfast and dinner.

Transport to the Puja venue

Transport to the venue will be provided at specific time slots at a selected pick up location in Bali. The pick up location and schedule will be shared closer to date.

Keeping the event plastic-free

Rinpoche has requested to make the puja more sustainable by avoiding single-use plastics. We encourage everyone to bring reusable items like your personal water bottles, cloth bags, and metal or wooden cutlery.

Health and safety

For the health and safety of all attendees, we ask that anyone feeling unwell refrain from attending the puja. If you have mild symptoms but wish to attend, please wear a mask to protect yourself and others.
