Be a Samaritan NLB Public Run (Jan)
Overview
Be a Samaritan Public Run (Jan) - Community Suicide First respondent workshop
Suicide prevention is everyone’s business.
It is our ambition to shift from a culture of silence, to one of openness and empathy, through empowering the wider community to be more vigilant and encourage them to keep a look out for anyone in distress.
"Be A Samaritan" (BAS) is a 2-part programme which aims to equip the community with the knowledge and skills to be a first responder to anyone facing a suicide crisis by engaging and encouraging distressed individuals to seek help and providing them with emotional support in an empathetic manner.
Upon Registration, SOS will be sending another email for you to complete the registration. (Note: this session is co-organised with National Library Board)
