Stephen Day’s musical journey started in the clubs of North East England. His early passions lie in Deep, Soulful House, Disco, and Italo House, from artists such as Masters At Work, Kerri Chandler, Miguel Migs, and Larry Levan. Now residing in Singapore, Stephen actively runs dance events under his brand 'Solid Ground'. His DJ sets have taken him all over the UK and Asia, where he has performed at some of the most notable clubs and festivals regionally alongside some of the most sought-after DJs in the world.

Stephen embarked on his production journey in 2012, initiallycreating re-editsof Disco classics before producing original Deep House tracks. His debutrelease on Seven Music hit number12 on the Traxsource Deep House chart.Subsequently, he has showcased his remixes and releases onlabels such asLarge Records, Chronovision, and Plastik People. Stephen has been exploringdifferent musical realms such as Deep Tech, Indie Dance, and Techno inrecent years. In 2024, he achieved a significant milestone by signing a singleto Tensnake's label 'True Romance'.

CHICHI is a genre-blending DJ, emerging producer, and founder of GAIAVIP—a boutique event experience celebrating global music culture. His signature sound spans Afro House, Indohouse, and Arabic house, weaving deep percussion, melodic textures, and cross-cultural samples into dynamic,emotionally rich sets.

A decade behind the decks has taken CHICHI across Singapore’s top venues—from Jungle Ballroom (Mondrian) to Avalon and Behind the Green Door—where he’s brought his unique energy to crowds and supported world-class actsincluding Shimza, SiiNA, Tayllor,and Alan Dixon.

In 2025, CHICHI released his debut single AAZALEA, a hypnotic and soulful journey through rhythm and atmosphere that reflects both his sonic roots and evolving artistry.As both an artist and curator, CHICHI remains committed to building experiences that connect people through music, movement, and meaning—on and off the dancefloor
