Dave Nunes is a talented and promising young Dutch DJ and producer, whose lifelong passion for music began at an early age. His musical signature can be best described as a captivating blend of electronic sounds infused with worldly influences, with a particular emphasis on Afro, Caribbean, and Latin American elements. His distinctive style goes beyond genre boundaries, providing listeners with an experience that seamlessly blends depth and accessibility.

Dave’s journey began in 2019, marked by the success of his initial remix on Soundcloud, which quickly gained traction and permeated clubs worldwide. The support from renowned DJs such as Diplo, Jarreau Vandal, JAEL, Major Lazer, Sarz, and Jyoty underscore the quality and appeal of his work.

In September 2023 ‘Yo Fam’ was released, Dave’s first major collaborative effort. A song co-produced by him, together with industry icons Skrillex and Sarz. Continuing his run of noteworthy collaborations Dave was also involved in the creation of the track ‘Happiness’ by Sarz, which features none other than Gunna and Asaka. With the support of his musical peers and through these exciting partnerships, Dave is establishing himself as a producer in line with prominent artists.

At the beginning of 2024 Dave also curated ‘Soulection All Day’, part of the Soulection Radio Takover on Apple Music. Entrusted with this task and considering that his songs have already received airplay on renowned radio stations such as Rinse FM, BBC 1Xtra, iHeart FM, and 3FM, this only further highlights his growing influence in the global music landscape.

Beyond his musical accomplishments, Dave has also introduced his own concept ‘Diaspora’ where he unites diverse genres and people from across the globe through his events. This initiative reflects his dedication to connect people through the universal language of music.
