Behind-the-Scenes of Littering Enforcement Workshop

Littering is an antisocial practice. The actions of just an inconsiderate few can create significant unpleasantness and even public health risks for everyone else. Find out how NEA’s littering enforcement operations take these offenders to task!
Join us for an engaging and interactive classroom workshop, hosted by active enforcement officers. Participants will be given a behind-the-scenes look at littering enforcement, such as how officers’ rounds are planned and conducted, the procedures they follow, the process of capturing images for evidence and issuing violation summons, as well as the many challenges they encounter.
Hear stories and anecdotes first-hand from our experienced enforcement officers, and gain insights into their unique perspectives on their work and how it positively impacts Singapore’s wellbeing as a whole.

Please note that the Eventbrite ticket issued for this activity, upon your booking, is only an acknowledgement of your indication of interest. It is NOT a confirmation of registration.

- While all applications will be carefully considered, the organiser reserves the right to refuse participation to individual applicants based on risk/safety assessments. - Do note that participants must be at least 18 years old to participate in this activity.
- Participants will need to arrange their own transport to Environment Building, 40 Scotts Rd, Singapore 228231, (Nearest MRT: Newton) and register for your security pass at the level 1 security office.

- For requests for withdrawal for any usage of media taken during the event, please inform the Facilitators/Guides before the start of the event.
