Discover the timeless art of black and white photography in this immersive workshop at Objectifs – Centre for Photography and Film in Singapore, led by renowned fine art photographer Mary-Ann Teo. Ideal for photography enthusiasts and aspiring visual artists, this course explores the fundamentals of light, shadow, and composition—the core elements that define powerful monochrome images. Participants will shoot with black and white film and gain hands-on experience developing their work in the Objectifs darkroom. Learn essential techniques for film photography, acquire basic darkroom skills, and deepen your understanding of the creative and emotional impact of black and white imagery.

Please note:
This is a very hands-on workshop. Participants’ learning will be most effective if they are able to make all of the sessions. As the workshop is repeated several times a year, participants may wish to register for a future round if they already know they may miss several lessons during this period. Make-up lessons and refunds are not offered for sessions missed.
