It's Christmas and let's get crafty in a 2-hour block-printing party, and hand print a myriad of different items that will make great Christmas, birthday or festive presents for friends or family. Learn the basics of traditional wood block printing techniques, including how to mix colours and properly transfer ink to canvas.
We combine traditional Indian wood block printing and contemporary motif designs in this workshop. With the help of skilled craftsmen in India, our designs are carved into quality hard teak wood and made into blocks that can withstand multiple prints.
You will get to select from a large variety of wood block stamps and use them to print on as many totebags, pouches and cards as you like during the 2-hour workshop. Each participant will get to bring home a wooden printing block at the end of the workshop too.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? MRT stations nearby – Bendeemeer (3 mins walk) , Lavender Station (8 mins walk) For those who drive, you may park at Vanguard Campus or at CT HUB located opposite.
What can I bring into the event? Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dyes on.

What's the refund policy? Once payment is made, we do not accept any cancellations or do refunds. In an event when you cannot make it for the workshop, you may transfer it to your friend. Simply forward the Eventbrite ticket to them, we will use that as attendance tracking.

I am Autumn, a designer and chef-by-training. With my love for making beautiful things and delicious food, I've decided to marry the two by harvesting colours from edibles and botanicals, and design. I'm on a journey to turn these materials into natural dyes for textiles and paper, to be made into meaningful goods later.
I am in search of and harvesting local plants and food remnants to make natural dyes. This process is more than just adding colour to a white piece of cloth or paper: It is a mindful choice I made hoping to bring design closer to nature by increasing the sustainability of the process, extending the usable life of ingredients, educating and raising greater awareness for Mother Nature.
