BODY X - The Culprit is an online immersive-interactive performance. Audience are detectives who get to solve the murder mystery.
This happened 35 years ago during the economic crisis of mid-1980s.
Lacking substantial evidence, the case was left unsolved.
While tackling the challenges of a never-seen-before recession and rapid business decline, a neighbourhood kopitiam had to face another murderous impact —
a Regular Patron was found dead early morning outside the shop, lying facedown at his usual spot.
All who were in contact with him the previous night - Big Boss, Kopi Auntie, Cleaner, Beer Girl, Stall-Owner - had valid alibi and were not at the scene of the crime.
However, they all had disagreements with the victim before.
Was it an accident? Or is the murderer one of them?
BODY X The Culprit is an online immersive-interactive murder-mystery performance where the audience will have the autonomy to make choices - who to follow, where to go, which story development to watch and how to solve the case. At the end of the show, audience members will gather to discuss notes, evaluate findings and vote for the identity of the murderer.
