Event description
A new multi-billion dollar market for Personalisation, Payments and Provenance with smart objects.

About this Event

Host: David Birch

Panellists: Terrie Smith (DIGISEQ), Leanne Kemp (Everledger)

Date: April 22nd 9am BST (Duration: 45 min Panel + 15 min Q&A)

The IoT market is projected to have 41 billion devices globally by 2027.

Ann Cairns (Executive Vice-Chair at MasterCard) said in 2018 that it will be the year you wear your wallet.

Jorn Lambert (Executive Vice President, Digital Solutions Mastercard) said in 2019 that there’s no better time to talk about the future of wearables.

Dave Birch says: ‘This is only the beginning. The secure microchips that are inside the Prada bracelet or the Golden Globes can be inside everything from smart watches to luxury handbags, from aircraft parts to bottles of whisky.’

Imagine a world where you can use your mobile to turn your watch, wristband or any object of your choice into your contactless payments device, your ID or as an access key. Picture an eco-system where the wallet is redundant and your money and identity safe on a ledger that could never be erased and the origins were never disputed.

Tune in to hear an exclusive conversation between Dave and three of the world’s experts, Simon Phillips, Terrie Smith and Leanne Kemp. Learn how they were able to provision the Golden Globes with true digital identity, a K Ring with payments and a bottle of Lucozade into a ticket for The London Underground!

Sign up now. Find out how you can be part of the Object as a Service movement that’s transforming brands.
