Soar into the world of aviation at the SAF60 Travelling Exhibition with the Build and Fly activity, where young aviators (aged 7 and above) and their parents will build their very own rubber-powered gliders, learn the science of flight, and launch their creations in a thrilling test flight — all guided by experienced instructors from Just Fly It.


This immersive parent-child experience celebrates Singapore Armed Forces’ 60th anniversary of unwavering commitment and security, and it’s all yours for just $10 per pair (materials included).

Who can participate in the “Build and Fly” activity?

The activity is designed for children aged 7 years and above, accompanied by a parent or guardian. It’s a great parent-child bonding experience!

Can I participate if I don’t have a child?

The activity is intended for parent-child pairs to promote bonding and shared learning. However, if you’re an adult aviation enthusiast, feel free to contact us at projectcec@sccci.org.sg to see if there’s a spot available for you!

How much does it cost?

It’s $10 per pair (parent and child), which includes materials and ensures commitment.

What will my child learn during the workshop?

What does the SAF60 Travelling Exhibition feature?

The exhibition, themed “Defending Our Home, Securing Our Future,” is jointly organised by Defence Collective Singapore (DCS), Nexus, and the SAF. This exhibition highlights the contributions of the SAF and its significance to Singapore's security and prosperity .

How long is the activity?

The Build and Fly activity lasts approximately 2 hours.

Do I need to bring anything?

No, all materials and tools will be provided. You may considered to bring bottle of water or your jacket as the venue is airconditioned.

Is there a limit on participants?

Yes, slots are limited to ensure a safe and engaging experience, so secure your spot early!
