The human body is continuously under scrutiny by the media, in our social world, and often from within ourselves.
Mainstream media often portrays a socially-accepted hierarchy of celebrated body shapes. Our perception of how we compare to these ideals often influence our relationship with our own body – sometimes with unhelpful or unhealthy results.
In this session, we will share how positive psychology research can be used to reconsider your relationship with your body.
Learn a range of strategies that can help to connect you with your body. Rediscover new ways to enjoy your body and methods to help others to embrace theirs!
This class is recommended for those who want to feel better in their bodies, those who would like to wholly embrace their appearance, and body practitioners looking for effective ways to encourage deeper body positivity.
