Eugene enjoys the time between seasons, listening to how the transitions light up his body. Eugene is a mover, actor, puppeteer, dancer. He finds grand pleasure in movement, in observing it, in playing with it. Eugene first encountered Butoh in Berlin in 2018 at an underground church - the show was completely dark with light strobes, and the movement qualities of the dancers fascinated him. Since then he has been learning it wherever he can, and performing it the past years with the Singapore Butoh Collective.
