Timothy Low serves as Chief Operating Officer at Halogen Foundation Singapore, a youth development non-profit organisation making quality character education available and accessible to all youth regardless of their state in life. He oversees all company operations, process innovation and scalability, forward strategic planning, and new business initiatives. Prior to working in the social service sector, he managed a VC accelerator helping scientists and technologists build deep tech startups from scratch, worked as Entrepreneur-in-Residence/Learning Designer in a regional L&D firm, and exited a startup that he co-founded focusing on EdTech for soft skills evaluation and leadership development.
Outside of work, Tim is energised by building and leading communities that make real impact and bring diverse persons together. He led the Sandbox Network, the WEF Global Shapers Community, and the alumni network of The Birthday Collective. He was also in the inaugural cohort of Obama Foundation Leaders APAC – where he designed the leadership programme with President Barack Obama.
At his downtime, he drinks too much coffee, plays too many iOS games, watches too much Disney+, engages in crypto-twitter, raps along to Hamilton, sells puts (and calls), tries to be an ‘AI artist’, and reposts his wife’s Instagram stories of their baby daughters.
