The Voices of Singapore Chorus of the People is our non-auditioned adult choir which consists of members from all walks of life and differing levels of music knowledge aiming to create a non-competitive and fun environment for choral singing. Embodying the community spirit of Singapore, the choir is known as the Chorus of the People, and its repertoire consists of a wide range of songs from contemporary to pop, sacred, jazz, musicals, and classical choral works. Anyone aged 18 and up who can hold a tune is welcome. Join us for an unforgettable musical journey.
Season 24 (2025 3rd Quarter) will be a continuous season, and will run from 2 July 2025 to 8 October 2025. Rehearsals are from 7:45pm-9:30pm on Wednesdays. On 30 July 2025, there will be a break.
Members participating in Season 24 (2025 3rd Quarter) will work towards the VOS Festival from 6-10 September 2025, and the VOS 6th Anniversary Concert at Esplanade on 8 October 2025 with a soundcheck on 7 October 2025.
For all singers joining us for the first time in Season 24 (2025 3rd Quarter), we will be holding an induction session on 2 July 2025, Wednesday, from 7:00-7:45pm.
Registration closes on 21 June 2025, Saturday, after which a late fee applies.
Rehearsal Venues
Rehearsals will mostly be conducted at VOS Capitol Studios in Capitol Singapore, at 13 Stamford Road #B1-20/21 Singapore 178905. Some singers may also be hosted at the VOS Sky Studio on Level 3 weekly for sectionals.
Support available for singers in need of financial assistance
The Support-a-singer Fund is a pool of contributed funds that will go directly to supporting singers in the VOS Chorus of the People, or other choral groups at Voices of Singapore in need of financial assistance. If you would like to contribute any amount to this fund to share the joy of singing with others, please choose a "Support-a-singer" option that suits you when completing your registration.
