This chunky cookie has a crisp outer layer and chewy, doughy center. It was first created in a famous American bakery and gained tremendous popularity to inspire many bakeries and home bakers from around the world to recreate their own chunky creation.

This course will be taught by Instructor Jazreel Tan.

She graduated from culinary school in Paris with a Diploma in French Pastries and has since gained over a decade of experience working alongside a few talented pastry chefs at Michelin-starred restaurant, French bakeries and Japanese pastry boutiques.

As an instructor for 3 years now, she hopes to impart her knowledge and passion for pastries.

• The theory behind the mountainous shape to the cookies
• How to make a base batter and incorporate different flavours

1. Carrot cake cream cheese
2. Matcha white cream cheese
3. Smores

• How to shape the American style chunky cookies
• How to stuff the cookie cores
• How to bake the cookies to a perfect crunchy exterior and cakey interior
• How to store cookie dough and baked cookies
• Troubleshoot & fix creation.
