It takes participants through the heart of the Civic District, where Singapore’s early foundations were laid. Retrace the footsteps of our forefathers and uncover the rich heritage, resilience, and legacy that continue to shape our nation today.

Tour Synopsis

Explore familiar landmarks like the National Gallery Singapore and the National Museum of Singapore in a new light—through the lens of history and discovery. Participants will receive archival photographs and clues that guide them to significant historical locations. At each stop, engage in site-specific activities that reveal the original functions and stories of these landmarks.

As you complete the journey and piece together the puzzle to the final location, gain a deeper appreciation for the people who laid the groundwork for Singapore’s transformation from a humble trading port to a modern nation-state.

  • Participants for this programme need to be 7 years old and above. Children below 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Please note that for this programme, we will group the attendees into teams of 5. If you would like to stay with your family/friends, please reach out to us!
  • You are required to follow the instructions of your tour guide or facilitator and stay with the group at all times unless otherwise instructed.
  • Dress code - Comfortable attire and shoes suitable for walking and exercise.
  • All participants are required to present their ticket at the meeting point during registration.
  • All tickets are strictly non-transferable; please ensure you register each ticket with a unique name and contact details.
  • This tour is not recommended for individuals requiring walking assistance (e.g. wheelchair users).
  • Please note that our tour guide or facilitator may decline walk-ins and/or large groups.
