September Holidays Intensive Revision Workshops

This year, Marshall Cavendish Education (MCE) is organising intensive revision workshops during the September school holidays to prep your child for the upcoming School Holiday Workshops!

Coding and computer science can be technical and difficult to understand. Sometimes, it may even bore a child out. This June holiday, trainer Ana Marie will be utilising the ubbu coding programme to share that coding and computer science are not always boring and technical - it can be extremely fun when taught in the right ways too! For P2 - 3s only.

Introduction to UBBUUbbu utilises amazing videos, fun games and challenging projects to teach computer science and coding.Every single lesson in ubbu uses a series of foundation elements put together to provide a responsible and meaningful learning experience.Ubbu's belief is that coding is an important piece of the big puzzle that is computer science, hence it teaches kids how to use technology in all its forms to address complex challenges.Children today are surrounded by technology and screens - by learning computer science, they can be transformed from a user to a creator instead. How cool is that?

Students will have to bring their own laptops for the workshop. Should there be any changes to the regulations by the government, the workshop will be conducted online instead.

Speaker's Profile: Ms Ana MarieAna Marie is an educator certified by Singapore's Ministry of Education. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 11 years of teaching experience. Ana specialises in STEM programmes and other ICT-related training. With extensive experience in Microsoft's range of software solutions and Google applications, she is an expert at designing training courses with technical content effective at imparting knowledge for learners.
