About the Speakers

Joel Yarbrough is the Asia Pacific Vice President for Rapyd, a global FinTech-as-a-service platform. He is responsible for leading the company’s business in the region.

Joel brings 26 years of extensive cross-disciplinary experience, having worked in Payments, Technology, Banking, and Management Consulting across continents.

Prior to Rapyd, he was Head of Product at Southeast Asia’s largest tech startup Grab, and went on to lead Business and Corporate Development on behalf of GrabPay, the Financial Services arm of Grab. He is also a notable PayPal alumnus, having led Global Product Strategy, APAC Product Management, Large Partner and O2O Solutions during his time at the world’s first digital payments company. Joel was also a founding board member of PayPal’s non-profit and charitable giving fund. Before joining PayPal, Joel held multiple global roles at JPMorgan.

Manoj Dugar is Managing Director and Head of Wholesale Payments for ASEAN based in Singapore at JPMorgan. In this role, he is responsible for Treasury Services, Trade Finance and Merchant Services across Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. He leads the efforts to deliver market leading solutions, ensuring resiliency and robustness in product offering, service model and control environment. He plays an instrumental role in driving the strategy on ecommerce, Fintech and transformative technologies.

Prior to this position, Manoj was APAC Head of Core Cash Management for six years and lead the firm’s product development strategy for Receivables, Payables, FX and Channel offerings across the region, ensuring corporate and financial institution clients benefit from an integrated approach across the Corporate & Investment Bank.

During 23+ year career, Manoj has held various roles in transaction and corporate banking across product management, sales, relationship management and operations. Prior to joining J.P Morgan in 2014, Manoj was Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions Product, India at Citi.

Manoj holds a Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretary degree by background.
