WHAT?
Participants will learn the art of fashion sketching with colour pencils, exploring how to bring couture designs to life on paper. The course will cover sketching fashion figures with correct proportions, applying light, shadow, and colour to illustrate garments, and developing the ability to express texture and fabric flow.
Through hands-on practice, participants will gain confidence in visualising and colouring fashion models and couture designs, while also learning key techniques in shading, blending, and colour mixing.

• Blending and mixing colours to depict fabric textures and details

Bring Your Own Materials:
- 2b pencil (mechanical or normal pencil is up to you)
- Bring sharpener if using normal pencil
- Soft eraser
- Ruler
COURSE FEE:
$280.00 per person
$56 for seniors eligible for National Silver Academy (NSA) subsidy
National Silver Academy
- NSA subsidy is for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 50 and above.
SkillsFuture Credit
- In addition to NSA subsidy, course fee may be offset by SkillsFuture Credit (SFC).
- All tickets purchased with the intent to use SkillsFuture Credit to offset the course fee will be subject to a non-refundable $20 administrative fee.
Notes:
- There are NO make-ups if you miss any of the art sessions.
- Missing a session does not disqualify you from taking part in the course - the trainer is not obligated to recap what was missed.
- Brahm Centre reserves the right to replan the course should the trainer be unable to conduct the class due to unforeseen circumstances.

Vanessa Zara Fong is a fashion illustrator and designer with a diploma in Fashion Design a diploma in Fashion Technology. With experience at brands like Saturday Club and Ellysage, she brings industry insights and technical expertise to her teaching. Skilled in hand-drawn illustrations, technical flats, and various fine art mediums, Zara is passionate about helping students develop their artistic style and fashion illustration skills.

Step 1 (on Skillsfuture Website): Check your SkillsFuture credit balance.
Log into your SkillsFuture Portal to confirm you have sufficient SkillsFuture Credit balance (Take note: $4K SkillsFuture Career Transition Credits CANNOT be used for Brahm Centre courses).

Step 2 (on Eventbrite Website): Securing your ticket.
On Eventbrite, search for the course you are interested in.

Step 3 (on Eventbrite Website): Select correct ticket type & complete registration.
Select the intended Ticket Type (either NSA+SkillsFuture or Individual+SkillsFuture) and complete your registration. Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing information about the course.
Save/Screenshot the confirmation. (you will use this in the following steps)
Step 4 (on Skillsfuture Website): Submit your SkillsFuture claim.
Go back to the SkillsFuture Portal to submit a claim under 'E-Services'.

Please submit your SkillsFuture credit claim 60 days BEFORE the course commencement, for it to be valid. Deadline to submit SFC Claim is one week prior to course commencement.
Step 5 (on Skillsfuture Website):
If your SFC submission was completed successfully, the status of your submission would reflect as "PENDING".
Your registration is confirmed after your SkillsFuture claim status reflect as "APPROVED".
*Should you choose to cancel your SFC claim before the start date, Brahm Centre reserves the right to impose a penalty fee for course withdrawal.
