Singapore Wind Symphony

COMWORKS is a community-based concert series organized by the Singapore Wind Symphony.

Lee Foundation Theatre

A curated program specially catered to students in preparation for their Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Arts Presentation and was well received by participating schools.Since it's inception in 2001, COMWORKS has been been a platform of sharing and learning. SWS will perform pieces chosen by the participating schools, conducted by their very own Band Directors. SWS also provides mentoring sessions with participating schools where students were seated alongside SWS members to pick up various performance techniques. Band Directors were also able to exchange ideas with each other and obtain feedback from our Music Director, Mr Joost Flach. COMWORKS 2023 continues to inspire and enrich students in their musical appreciation and capabilities in their journey towards the SYF presentation. In COMWORKS 2023, SWS will feature 5 conductors in the concert.
