Concert of the People 2024: In One Voice!

Join Voices of Singapore for a family day out at the "Concert of the People", a unique concert-singalong where all of Voices of Singapore's community choirs will unite In One Voice. This outdoor concert brings together the seniors of VOS Silver Voices, the adults of VOS Community Chorus, and the special needs children of VOS Starlight Voices, in celebration of the universal joy of singing.

Unwind on your picnic mats, lay out your favorite snacks, and enjoy the musical atmosphere at the Capitol Singapore Outdoor Plaza. Enjoy or sing along to uplifting classics such as "You Raise Me Up" and "I Could Have Danced All Night", or jam along to musical cultural gems like "Baba Yetu,", and "Adiemus”. More than just a concert, the Concert of the People extends a warm invitation to join our singing communities for a day filled with music and joy.

Seating Advisory

Doors will open at 6:30pm. Ticket holders are advised to arrive early to enjoy fringe activities such as a photobooth, memo wall and food & drinks which are included in your ticket. The event will have free seating, and attendees are encouraged to bring your own picnic mat to enjoy the performance with families and friends. Spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Age Limit

Admission for audience of all ages. Admission is subject to valid tickets produced at the entrance, regardless of age.

Photography & Videography

Non-flash photography and videography is permitted. In consideration of other audience members, tripods and selfie sticks are not allowed.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Tickets sold are non-refundable. A full refund will only be issued to all ticket holders in the event of performance cancellation. The Eventbrite fee may not be refundable.

About Voices of Singapore

Voices of Singapore (VOS) is the nation’s largest singing organisation, and has a vision to Inspire a Singing Singapore. It houses a group of more than 20 diverse singing groups, and several choirs under the VOS Choral Excellence Programmes have garnered international arts awards.

As an arts charity, VOS aims to make singing accessible to people from all walks of life. Its community impact programmes penetrate deep into society, reaching communities such as special needs, elderly, and children-at-risk. These programmes are supported by organisations such as Temasek Trust, Majurity Trust, the Oscar fund and the National Arts Council.

VOS has organised singing events reaching over 50,000 people and its projects have garnered more than 3 million online views. The music videos and projects hope to be a source of inspiration for Singaporeans, and have been televised nationwide, including appearances at the National Day Parade, President's Star Charity and more. VOS's Virtual Choir rendition of Home has been displayed at the Singapore National Museum as well as various Singapore embassies around the world.

VOS champions arts advocacy to the community through singing events and choral participation, inspiring and enabling individuals.
