About this event
Concert of the People
Step into a heartwarming celebration of community, family, and the power of song at Voices of Singapore's Concert of the People: The Sound of Us. This special evening unites over 500 voices from Voices of Singapore’s (VOS) community impact choirs, showcasing the role of choral music in strengthening communities and sharing the stories of families connected by a shared passion for singing.
Featuring the Silver Voices, an inclusive singing programme for seniors over 60, the Starlight Voices, a choir for children with special needs, and the Chorus of the People, a non-auditioned adult choir, this concert brings together singers from all walks of life to share their love for choral music. It also marks the debut performance of two new Silver Voices groups, adding to Voices of Singapore's growing community of choirs.
The Concert of the People series is an annual event by Voices of Singapore, dedicated to showcasing its community choirs and advancing its mission of building a Singing Singapore. By providing a platform for these choirs to share their voices, the series celebrates the joy of choral music and its power to bring people together.
