Conscious Friendship Social: A Philosophical Night [@Mad Roaster]
Overview
Conscious friendship social: A Philosophical Night
Through guided talking points, hands-on activity and a personal mission to complete, turn your insights into something tangible after you leave.
A philosophical night is a themed around a gentle inquiry into what we chase, protect, and hold sacred without even realising it — the quieter altars of modern life: success, love, validation, beauty, control, or peace.
What’s better than honest conversations and emotional transparency over good f&B? Join us for A Philosophical Night — part café hangout, part friend-making conscious social. We’ll guide you through playful, thought-provoking prompts around emotions, connection.
Expect warmth, laughter, honesty, and a surprising sense of kinship — the kind that only comes when people talk about what really matters.
A conscious social is a gathering where people connect with intention - through real conversation, reflection, and shared presence.

Mad Roaster's Slow Bar @ Enabling Village
Mad Roaster started as a vehicle to support our friends in the refugee community, while bringing you quality food and drinks.
❤️ They support refugees across Asia who’ve been displaced by war, genocide, or persecution, by commissioning them to hand-colour the café’s logos — each cup and label tells a refugee’s story and provides them income and dignity through art.
❤️ Their partners include NGOs such as Habibi International and People Serving People Foundation, helping Rohingya, Yezidi, Ahmadi, Montagnard, and Sudanese communities.
Since 2024, Mad Roaster has expanded its social mission to include persons with disabilities in Singapore, working with organisations like Christian Outreach for the Handicapped (COH) and APSN to provide job training and showcase their art and baked goods at the café.
At its heart, Mad Roaster is about connection, compassion, and community — one cup at a time.
