About this event

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is the third most common mental health conditions among Singaporeans. This disorder forces a person to perform repetitive physical or mental activities in order to feel “safer”.

These uncontrollable behaviours can cause seriously impact a person’s life, affecting areas such as work and family, and can worsen over time. It can be more debilitating than other serious physical illnesses, such as cancer, hypertension, or diabetes.

However, it is treatable and sufferers can obtain relief from their symptoms.

Come learn out more about OCD and how you or your loved ones can seek professional help.

In this seminar, participants will learn about:

  • What is Obsessive-Compulsive disorder
  • The signs and symptoms of OCD
  • How do we develop OCD
  • How do we cope with OCD
  • How can counselling help you and your loved ones
  • How to seek professional help

This seminar is suited for general public with no knowledge on psychology or mental health. We welcome any professionals or students in this field to come forward and share their knowledge.
