How do you want to get there?
Day 1: Introduction to LEGO SPIKE PRIME & Component Exploration
Students will begin their robotics journey by exploring the LEGO SPIKE PRIME kit and its components, including motors, sensors, and the programmable hub. They will learn how to download and run programs on the hub and understand how each part contributes to robotic movement and functionality. Through hands-on builds like the Breakdancer and Kiki the Dog, students will experiment with different mechanical designs, gaining a strong foundation in robotics and coding.
Day 2: Building and Programming Different Robotic Builds
On the second day, students will take their skills further by building robotic vehicles commonly used in competitions. They will learn how to program their robots to complete different tasks, such as navigating obstacles, following lines, and executing precise movements. Through interactive challenges, students will develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, and creativity while gaining practical experience in robotics and engineering. By the end of the workshop, they will have a working competition-style robot and a deeper understanding of real-world robotics applications.
