1. Will tickets be sold onsite?

We will not be selling any tickets onsite, please do purchase your tickets online via eventbrite!

Question 2

2. Will there be a baggage check-in service?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We have a baggage storage service located at the Seed Room. However, due to space constraints, we will only be able to accept a limited number of suitcases. This service will cost $2 per suitcase (capped at $4), and you may retrieve your baggage and re-store them any time you wish.

3. Will there be food at the event?

Accepted Answer

There are two restaurants at Hort Park - Canopy HortPark and Vineyard. Unfortunately, we will not have any food booths available in the event itself. Please do pack and bring your own food and drinks! You may bring them into the event hall, but do be careful and try to guard against spillages!

4. Are there any costume restrictions?

Accepted Answer

As this is still an event that is held in a public space, we ask that you be mindful of what your costume exposes and/or any potential panic it might arouse. We will not be responsible for any law enforcement actions taken against you during this event. Otherwise, have fun!

5. May we change in the toilets at the park?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but please note that there are limited toilet cubicles around the multi-purpose hall. If possible, finish putting on the outer layers of your costume and/or accessories outside. As for makeup, please either bring along a handheld mirror, or make use of the makeup corner within our event hall!

6. Lost and Found items?

Accepted Answer

Please proceed to the baggage storage at the Seed Room to return any lost items/seek your missing things.

Question 7

7. How long can we use the photo backdrops?

Accepted Answer

We will not be policing the duration of use of each backdrop, but please do be considerate to the other cosplayers, and let them have their turn too! As a general rule of thumb, try not to spend more than 10 continuous minutes at a backdrop.

8. Does any of the media used in CosGarden employ generative AI?

Accepted Answer

As our event is created by people who are in the art scene, we did not and will not use generative AI for our media including our photo backdrops, which are photobashed and painted by a co-organiser, referencing other existing photographs in order to create as realistic an approach as possible!
