Crack the Dialect (FREE Escape Game!)

Synopsis

Test your dialect skills in “Say It Again: The Dialect Comeback”, a collaboration by Ngee Ann Polytechnic students and The Escape Artist! Revisit your roots and connect with your heritage in this escape room adventure where you will need to bring out your inner dialect-speaking self in a fun and interactive way.

Conditions of Entry

• No admission for infants in arms and children below 5 years old. 婴孩及5岁以下的孩童不得入场。
• All children must be accompanied by adults. 儿童须由成人陪伴。
• Tickets are required for all patrons. 所有参与者须持票入场。
• Recommended for children aged 12 and above. 节目适合12岁以上的儿童参与。

General

• In the interest of all patrons, latecomers will not be seated until a suitable break in the performance.
• Patrons are required to follow all house rules and regulations set out by the venue.
• The House Rules are displayed within the venue premises.
• No food and drinks are allowed in the venue.

Photography / Videography Recording Rules

• Photography without flash are allowed for this event.
• Please note that photographs and videos of patrons may be taken at this event for use in our archival and publicity material.

Tickets:

Maximum up to 8 pax in a team. Each person is allowed to make only one booking for one team ticket. If you make multiple bookings, ALL your bookings will be cancelled.

The game is conducted in English with Chinese translation available for the puzzles & clues. There will be dialect audio with English translation for those who needs it.

Collect the game pack from the registration at Level 6 Recital Studio, explore the areas for clues and solve puzzles!

What is this event about?

This is a family-friendly, team-based game made up of 2-8 members, so this is a perfect opportunity to have fun with your friends or make new ones. Interaction and cooperation are keys to solving the puzzles. The puzzles train you to think out of the box and are suitable for young and old alike!

Is there an age limit to this event?

This game is suitable for people above the age of 12years old. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult age 21 and above.

When should I arrive?

Please come 10 minutes before your game session for registration and team arrangement. Please make your way to the Multi-Purpose Hall, Level 7 of Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre. We reserve the right not to admit late comers to avoid inconvenience to other players.

How long does each game lasts?

Each game will last approximately 1 to 2 hours depending on your pace.

What if it rains?

This is a rain or shine event as it is in an indoors environment.

How many people will there be in a team?

Your team ticket allows between 2 to 8 players. We strongly recommend you to form teams of 4-8pax.
