Join MCE to create 2D & 3D designs to Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR)! Students will also learn coding to enhance the AR/VR.

Course Description During this workshop students will learn how to create and turn 2D &amp; 3D designs into Augmented Reality (AR) &amp; Virtual Reality (VR). Projects will be created in Zapworks studio, which is a great environment to take first steps in the AR &amp; VR field. To make AR &amp; VR projects interactive, students will also learn a bit of coding. Course Objectives Students will learn: <ul><li>modifying 2D graphics and 3D models, </li><li>what is AR &amp; VR, </li><li>how to use Zapworks Studio, </li><li>creating AR and VR projects, </li><li>testing the AR and VR projects. </li></ul>Students will develop: <ul><li>analytical and algorithmic thinking, </li><li>problem solving skills, </li><li>creativity, </li><li>design skills. </li></ul>Sign up for this workshop and receive a complimentary 1-year subscription to a AV &amp; VR course on MCEduHub!The workshop will be conducted online. Workshop overviewPhoto Feature - Learning about Zappar Studio interface and functions. Creating a simple Augmented Reality project by working on photo features with 3D models from Sketchfab. Masking Environment - Learning how to obtain 3D perspective with 2D picture in Virtual Reality Project. Learning how to mask objects in the working area, setting the perspective and using the layer mode. Face Tracking - Creating an Augmented Reality project by applying filters with 2D and 3D models.
