Create Your Own Ceramic Tableware with ByRos

Independent artists and designers have a flair and ability to produce beautiful work that we greatly admire. Rosalind, founder of ByRos is no exception. Her line of ceramics are one-of-a-kind. Beautiful serving ware, minimalistic cups and unique bowls and dishes are all made by hand, a stunning point of interest on any table. Now you&#x27;ll have a chance to spend a relaxing morning or afternoon with Rosalind. Crane is collaborating with ByRos to bring you this workshop which will take place in a very nice and quiet setting in Crane, a private club in Robertson Quay. At the workshop you will learn about various techniques to create your very own customised dessert plate or trinket dish. After creating your item, it will be air dried, fired and glazed by Ros. It will then be fired for the second time and your final creation will be ready to use in 2.5-3 weeks after the event.You can collect your completed tableware at Crane, or have it delivered to you afterward for a small fee. (Collection/delivery will be 2-3 weeks after the workshop date)Workshops usually take up to 4 hours, but Rosalind is creating these bite-sized 2.5 hour workshops just for you to try your hand at pottery!ByRos items are not just elegant, they are truly unique and can be personalised by adding your name or logo to the design. ByRos strongly supports the preservation of traditional artisanal skills by collaborating with local artisans and small businesses where possible. In order to maintain a sustainable eco system for this traditional craft, ByRos partners with a family-run, local pottery business that has existed in the community for three generations. Crane is a social club that believes in lifelong learning, holistic wellness, and sustainability.
