TUNING INTO NATURE
Observing the natural world closely with all of our senses can have an impact on overall health and wellbeing. Take in all nature has to offer through a selection of artworks fromThe Gift, an exhibition by the Singapore Art Museum, and the Art Gallery of New South Wales and discover how to focus our attention on being present.
ABOUT CROSS-CULTURAL ART DOSE SERIES
Art can help us to connect with our feelings, promote empathy, and show compassion to ourselves and others. Take some time out and join us on a mindful journey through art [and] history, exploring slow-looking techniques and reflection. Find ways to respond creatively, and perhaps discuss observations and insights with others.
Led by Danielle Gullotta from the Art Gallery of New South Wales (Australia), Professor Katherine Boydell from the Black Dog Institute (Australia) and Dr Lim Chye Hong from the Singapore Art Museum, Cross-Cultural Art Dose is an online art experience with your well-being as its primary focus.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Danielle Gullotta is a Senior Access Programmes Producer at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. An advocate for the positive benefits of engagement in the arts, she has led and created opportunities for individuals to be curious, imagine and think creatively in a safe environment, with open-ended outcomes for engaging diverse audience.
Dr Katherine Boydell is a Professor of Mental Health at the Black Dog Institute and School of Psychiatry at the University of New South Wales, and Adjunct Professor in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. Dr Boydell uses a wide variety of art genres in the research process to create and disseminate health knowledge.
Dr Lim Chye Hong is an art historian by training, with many years of experience in the museum and heritage sector, including curatorial, programming, and leadership positions in Australia and Singapore. A specialist in Chinese art with sound knowledge of Australian and Contemporary Art, Dr Lim is currently Head of Education, Programmes and Access at the Singapore Art Museum.
