About this event
Tiny Gods, Big Stories: A Journey Through Art and Taiwanese Beliefs
An immersive clay workshop exploring culture, creativity, and everyday spirituality.
Join us at Cass Art for a unique cultural experience where storytelling meets sculpture.
Discover the vibrant world of Taiwanese folk beliefs—where deities guide love, luck, learning, and protection—and sculpt your very own “pocket god” using air-dry clay.
Through playful stories, hands-on creation, and gentle reflection, you’ll explore how spirituality is woven into daily life in Taiwan. No experience needed—just curiosity, imagination, and an open mind.
🎨 Create — Craft your own symbolic clay figure with guidance from a professional artist
📖 Learn — Hear the stories behind Taiwan’s most beloved folk deities
🧘 Reflect — Leave with your own “tiny god” and a story to tell
