Join us to experience mindfulness with an open heart and spend a meaningful Sunday with a group of like-minded people.

During this event, formal and informal mindfulness will take place with the facilitation of mindfulness coach, Danica Toh. The 'Day of Mindfulness' event will give you an insight into the various practices of mindfulness and it is stemmed from teachings of Jon Kabat-Zinn, the creator of a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program. In this month's event, participants would experience a short day of silence while experiencing and living in the present moment. An aspect of self-compassion would also be included in this series.Event location: Hong Lim Park (Stage area)Registration begins at 8:10amEvent will begin on time at 830am so please arrive earlierOutfit for the day:Loose and comfortable clothing (Casual/Sports wear)Comfortable shoes for walking (Walking/Sport shoes or sandals)Some items to bring along (Recommended to pack light and as you need):Exercise/Yoga matYoga block/ meditation cushion/ portable stool for sitting Blanket (Optional)SocksA bottle of waterItems to bring based on personal preference :Journal &amp; writing materialCap/Hat SunglassesSunblockMosquito repellentUmbrella/Raincoat (In case of hot or wet weather)Any other personal necessities.Event is free, however, contributions may be made at the end based on free will.
