Live excited at the Bay with DBS Marina Bay Sailing Programme and enjoy an experience like no other!
Come sail with us in Marina Bay onboard our 2 fleets of boats - the SB20, a 4 men crew boat, which is commonly used for racing, and the Swedish Match 40 (SM40) which reaching an impressive height of about 4 storeys, are brought into Asia for the very first time and are available for free to the public.
As there are limited slots per session, reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will only be made available to the public via this online booking page. Participants will be allocated to either the SM40 or SB20 based on your group size and order of arrival.
FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Age restrictions apply. Participants must be above 7 and below 70 years of age. Young children must have attained 7 years of age at the point of registration (i.e. after their 7th birthday) and are required to provide proof of age through a photo ID. Please also download the Indemnity Form and complete it prior to arriving at the Customs House so that we can begin all sailing sessions promptly.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Outfit: Comfortable/casual
Footwear: Flats/sports shoes
Sun protection: Shades/caps/sunscreen
Lifevest will be provided and must be worn on board
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Regrettably, due to the popularity of this programme, we will not be able to accomodate requests for changes in sailing sessions.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we wouldn't need your printed tickets. However, we will need to collect your completed Indemnity Form.

What to Expect
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your session that you have successfully booked for. Each session will last for 30 - 40 minutes. This includes a 10-minute safety briefing and the submission of indemnity forms.
Late Arrivals
Regrettably, due to the popularity of this programme, we will not be able to entertain latecomers.
Weather and Haze situation
In the event of inclement weather, unhealthy haze or unforeseen circumstances, the organiser reserves the rights to delay or cancel the sailing session for the safety of the participants. Please understand that this decision may take place at short notice, whether pre-departure or after the session has commenced.
As per the guideline from the National Environment Agency (NEA), all outdoor activities should be stopped if the PSI level is expected to go above 100. If this is the case, the sailing session will be cancelled.
We will endeavour to provide updated information via email if such circumstances arise on a best-effort basis.

Terms & Conditions
- Participants consent to DBS Bank Ltd (“DBS”) and Singapore Sailing Federation ("SSF") collecting and using their personal particulars (including but not limited to name and contact details) for purposes of the DBS Marina Bay Sailing Programme (“Programme”). DBS & SSF will not use the personal particulars for any other purpose. All personal particulars provided to DBS & SSF for the Programme will be kept secure and processed in accordance with all applicable laws.
- Participants also confirm that the personal particulars they provided for the Programme are accurate and complete. If there are any changes to the participant’s personal particulars, the Participants shall contact DBS & SSF to update their personal particulars for purposes of the Programme.
- Participants MUST be at least 7 years old and below 70 years old, and should possess basic water confidence. Young children will need to show proof of age with a photo ID.
- EACH participant MUST complete an indemnity form prior to boarding the sailboat.
- Participants are allowed to sign up for only one session and up to a maximum of four tickets at any given time. Each ticket allows one person on board.
- The organiser reserves the rights to cancel registration for multiple sessions or tickets beyond the maximum allocation.
- In order to allow more people to experience sailing in Marina Bay, we seek your understanding that it may not be possible for all members of your party to sail in the same boat.
- If you are unable to attend the sailing session, please cancel your tickets via this registration site or notify us at aili@singaporesailing.org.sg so that we can make the sailing experience available to others.
- Walk-ins will not be entertained.
