Description

Decoupage is an art of decorating objects with paper cut-outs or with beautiful European-style napkins. Participants will enjoy the fun and satisfaction of creating an art projects with their everyday used objects. Hence, decoupage is an art of upcycling. Using the various techniques of decoupage, the participants can decorate any objects including household items from such as bags, pouch, glass bottles, porcelain plates, wooden boxes, to even large pieces of furniture. Participants are also encouraged to be creative such that the decoupage items can be a very special gifts to their loved ones and friends.

How does it work?

Upon successful payment, you shall receive instructions on how to join the online course conducted via Zoom before the date of your first session.


Course fee:

$280 | $56 for seniors eligible for National Silver Academy (NSA) subsidy*

*NSA subsidy is for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 50 and above.

Course fee may be offset by ^SkillsFuture Credit (SFC). First, course participants are to make payment for the course through Brahm Centre Eventbrite page, followed by claim with SFC. Brahm Centre will reimburse the amount that is successfully claim upon receipt of the funds from SFC. More details on SFC will be provided upon registration.

Notes:

  • Please note that payments for courses are non-refundable.

  • Do ensure that you are able to attend the first session of the course before registering for the course as you will not be allowed to continue with the course should you miss the first session.

  • Request for transfers or make up-classes for selected mindfulness courses are subjected to availability and fees of $30 for transfers and $10 for make-up are applicable.

Material Fee Includes:
PVC pouch and one cotton tote bag for first 2 lessons, use of napkins, Decoupage glue, artist varnish, glue sponge, varnish brushes, square sponge, acrylic paint, plastic container.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own Recycle items for the classes (A wooden box, glass bottle and glass plate etc ). You may also choose to purchase these additional items in class if you do not have them.

To bring every lesson: A pair of scissors and a hair-dryer.

Minimum 10 students to start class




About The Instructor

Pearl Tang has great passion in art and craft creations and its activities. Aside from decoupage, her interests also include crochets, knitting, air-dry clay sculpture, jewellery-making, Crepe paper flowers, Soft-Pastel painting etc. Pearl is a certified facilitator and trainer by WDA–ACTA. She has over 15 years of experience working in training and educational institutions and is currently a part-time teacher, teaching Business studies, English and basic computer. She is also a PA trainer.
