DELTA // A Night of New Poetry
A difference, an increase, a place where rivers diverge or meet. Come along to Thryft's new home in Lower Delta on 5 July to celebrate not one... not two... but five new releases from local publishers Afterimage, Landmark and Ethos Books, as well as the UK-based Carcanet Press! The evening will feature readings by poets Cheng Him, nor, Wahid Al Mamun, Jonathan Chan and Theophilus Kwek from their recently-launched poetry collections, three of which are fresh debuts. There will also be the opportunity to browse Thryft's remarkable collection of pre-loved books and clothes, pick up signed copies of the poets' new books, and grab a homegrown craft beer from Get Some.
