About this event

You’ve learned the theory of design thinking, you’ve even delivered a design thinking project, and you’re feeling excited about creating more positive change around you!

But you’re stuck…no-one else you work with is motivated to roll up their sleeves and get designing.

In collaboration with DesignSingapore Council’s School of X, Dr Kate Lazarenko and Reuben Png are delighted to offer this practical masterclass that will introduce proven techniques and approaches to help you exercise 360 degree influence in your organisation, and cultivate a design-led culture.

Integrating change leadership, transformation design, and empathy-based research methods, this masterclass will provide a deep dive into incorporating design principles across your team, organisation, and solution development processes. You will be engaged in structured, guided discussions combined with a variety of practical activities to help you understand and tackle some of the issues you are currently facing. You will also get to meet & learn from others who are grappling with similar challenges.

What you will gain from this masterclass:

Bridge the gap between Design Thinking ‘knowing’ and ‘doing’: understand how to tackle the cultural and mindset barriers to design thinking implementation in the real world

Cascade your knowledge: practical exploration of key concepts, tools, and tips to help you introduce design to your teams and organisations, for effective resonance and traction

Peer-to-peer learning: deepen your learning outcomes by building shared reflective practice into your activities, with access to a like-minded community of design practitioners, ‘buddies’, and mentors to accompany you on your design journey

Sign up to become the catalyst for design change in your organisation! Our masterclass will take place online on October 12 & 26, 2022 (two half-day sessions, 2-5pm SG time). Register now to take advantage of our 'early bird' offer valid until the end of September 2022.

TC: The tickets are non-refundable.
