Reimagining Sustainability Through the Eyes of Children

Join us for a half-day congress bringing together early childhood educators, sustainability advocates, and education leaders to explore how design-based learning can spark agency, empathy, and action in our youngest learners.

Hosted by Methodist Preschool Services, this Congress segment is part of Designathon Works Singapore 2025: Water Wonders, a national preschool design challenge on water sustainability.

2. Do I have to be part of the Designathon student programme to attend?

No. The Congress is open to the wider education and community network. You can attend even if you are not directly involved in the student workshop.

3. Is this a free event?

Yes, the Congress is free to attend, but registration is required due to limited seating.

4. Will food or refreshments be provided?

Light refreshments will be available for attendees during the Congress segment.

5. Is this a sit-down conference or more of an expo?

This is a seated Congress featuring short talks and panel discussions. It is an opportunity to engage with ideas and peers, not a booth-style event.

7. Is there parking available at the venue?

Limited parking is available at Faith Methodist Church. We strongly encourage carpooling or using public transport where possible. The nearest MRT station is Commonwealth (EW20), approximately a 5–7 minute walk away.

8. What should I wear?

The dress code is smart casual. Educators may come in centre uniform if preferred. Do dress comfortably for light movement and interaction.
