Training Day: Monday, 8 September 2025

Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Registration opens at 12:00 PM)

Main Event (Co-Facilitation): Tuesday, 9 September 202 5

Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

  • Congress Segment: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM (Pre-registration from 9:00 AM)
  • Student Showcase & Facilitation: 1:00 PM – 4:15 PM
  • Debrief, Certificates & Photo-Taking: 4:15 PM – 5:30 PM

Venue: Faith Methodist Church, Singapore

Includes: Refreshments, Lunch (Day 2), all materials, and a facilitation kit for participating educators.

Note on Attendance

This programme is complimentary for educators from invited centres. As materials, training, and facilitator time are committed in advance, we ask for your full cooperation in attending as registered.

If you are unable to attend, please inform us as early as 2 weeks before the event.No-shows without valid notice may result in cost recovery from your centre (estimated at $69.90 per participant).

Frequently asked questions

1. Do I need to attend both days?

Yes. Day 1 (8 September) is a training session to familiarise you with the Designathon approach and materials. Day 2 (9 September) is the actual event, where you will support your students through the process and showcase.

2. What if I register but can't attend?

Please inform us 2 weeks before the event if your plans change. Since this is a no-cost event with committed resources, no-shows without valid notice may result in cost recovery from your centre (estimated at $69.90 per participant).

3. Will I be facilitating on Day 2?

Yes, educators will support their own students during the hands-on design segment. You will be guided through this during Day 1 training and will receive a clear flow guide to help you facilitate confidently.

4. Do I need to bring anything?

Just come comfortably dressed and bring a water bottle. All materials and resources will be provided.

6. Will refreshments be provided?

Refreshments will be provided on both days. Lunch will be provided on the 2nd Day. If you have any dietary restrictions, please indicate them in the form.

7. Is there parking available at the venue?

Limited parking is available at Faith Methodist Church. We strongly encourage carpooling or using public transport where possible. The nearest MRT station is Commonwealth (EW20), approximately a 5–7 minute walk away.
