Speaker: Dr. Victor Kwok, Snr Consultant & Head of Psychiatry, Sengkang General Hospital

From the webinar, you will learn how to spot the symptoms of depression and better understand what a person with depression is going through. If you have a loved one who suffers from depression, get tips on how to support and care for him/her.

Dr Victor Kwok is Head and Senior Consultant in the Department of Psychiatry, Sengkang General Hospital. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from National University of Singapore. He subsequently obtained his Master of Medicine (Psychiatry) and then his qualification as a specialist in Psychiatry.

He was previously the Director for the Early Intervention Program for Depression and Anxiety in Singapore General Hospital where he worked closely with patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

He has a special interest in Eating Disorders and he undertook his fellowship training in this field at Stanford Health Care, California, USA.

This is part of Saturday Health Talks LIVE organised by Brahm Centre where healthcare professionals and qualified speakers from various fields are invited to conduct free talks followed by Q&A.

Please note that all course registrations are NON-refundable. Transfer of selected mindfulness courses is subject to a $30 transfer fee and a $10 admin fee for a mindfulness make-up class. There are NO transfers or make-up classes available for all other courses.
