Do we have free will, or are we bound by kismet, fate and destiny?
Are our lives shaped by chance and coincidence — or by unseen threads of cause and effect?
And could our present experiences be the result of past actions, perhaps even across lifetimes?
In the third chapter of our Dialogues Through the Veil series, we explore the ancient idea of karma and its many facets. Come join us in this juicy and reflective dialogue, as we share, question, and discover how the principle of karma might shape our lives — and how we might meet it with clarity and compassion.
Format
The session begins with a short 15–20 minute sharing by members of the Singapore Lodge Theosophical Society that introduces a few perspectives or ways of understanding karma — including insights from different traditions or religions, and personal reflections.
After the sharing, we’ll open the space for an informal, free-flowing discussion. This is a chance for everyone to contribute—whether through questions, stories, or simply listening in. The aim is to create a conversational space where curiosity, wonder, and multiple viewpoints can meet.
