Discourse Thursday - Thinking Clearly Together (A 4-Part Monthly Workshop)
Overview
We’re excited to launch our new series: Discourse Thursday!
This online event series, hosted via Zoom, aims to connect us with the global humanist movement and audiences, as well as international experts, authors, and thought leaders. It transcends borders to foster global conversations all through our screens.
To kick things off, we’re starting with a four-part monthly workshop series on how to disagree better.
In today’s noisy, polarized world, disagreements are inevitable and often exhausting. Fortunately, there are practical tools and principles to help us think more clearly together.
Our speaker and facilitator, Mr. Z, will share these tools, showing how to build stronger arguments, understand opposing perspectives, and uncover deeper insights and better solutions through our differences.
Join us for the first session: “How to Have Better Disagreements.”
We’ll explore why disagreements escalate, which ones are worth pursuing, and how to transform heated exchanges into productive conversations that move us forward.
Meeting link will be provided closer to the date.
