Description

Dream Big: Make Giant Comics!

Do you have a big idea for a comic? Is your exercise book too small to contain your epic story? Be bold and experiment – roll out your ideas on a giant piece of paper! Join us to create larger-than-life comics… literally!

Participants will learn about the elements of comics as well as the process of comics creation. They will also pick up tips on story craft such as how dialogue and art work together to create a compelling story.

Part of the session will cover character creation, from planning believable characters to drawing basic character features, bodies, and facial expressions.

With a large roll of paper (about 0.45 x 1.5m long) as their canvas, children can be bold and express themselves freely!

Drawing materials will be provided.

This session is for children aged 8 to 12 years old.
